Affordable education for all
A quick, teacher built way to measure how well every child reads aloud — and keep the data in your school’s hands.
Five minutes a child. Each assessment takes about five minutes. A child reads a short passage, the tool records it, and you get words-correct per-minute (WCPM), accuracy and fluency scored straight away. A whole class fits into a couple of afternoons, not a week.
Your TAs can run it. No specialist training, no teacher release time. A teaching assistant can sit with a child, press record and move on to the next one. It’s consistent and standardised, and it frees your teachers to teach.
Recordings stay on your servers — built with GDPR in mind. Every pupil recording is saved to your school’s own servers rather than shipped off to someone else’s cloud. You keep control of the audio and the data, which keeps the information governance conversation short.
Measures that matter. WCPM, accuracy and prosody (against the Multidimensional Fluency Scale), so you can track progress across KS1 and KS2, spot the children who need support early, and evidence the impact.
Tell us how to make it better. We’re a Tower Hamlets team building this for real classrooms, so we’d rather hear from you than guess. If there’s something that would make it work better in your school, email us or drop us a text — we read every one.
